Teacher exposed as Snapchat paedophile 'addicted' to sickening pics of kids
dailyrecord.co.ukA teacher has been exposed as a Snapchat paedophile after collecting thousands of indecent images of children. Antony Phillips, who told cops he was "addicted" to the sickening pics, was snared after a category B image was uploaded to Snapchat in December last year.
Liverpool Crown Court heard last week that the 32-year-old football coach was linked to the photo by his IP address. Cops raided his home, arresting Phillips and seizing two laptops and a mobile phone, Liverpool Echo reports.
Both computers contained indecent images of youngsters, including 784 in category A - those showing the most serious forms of abuse.
There were also 1,052 category B images, 3,801 in category C. Most of the pictures were said to have shown "teenage boys of school age".Ben Berkson, prosecuting, told the court that "concerning search terms which indicated a predilection for young teenage boys" were found in Phillips' internet history, including one for "changing room boys".The beast had taught at Calday Grange Grammar School in West Kirby, Wirral, for over seven years, until January of this year.
