Taylor Swift has devastated Kiwi fans after she appeared to confirm she will not be taking her Eras Tour to New Zealand. The pop superstar announced she will play three nights at Sydney's Accor Stadium and two at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia on Wednesday morning, but made no mention of the neighbouring country.
Some fans have speculated the reason she's decided not to tour the country is simply because there isn't a stadium big enough for her massive production.
While Taylor took her Reputation Tour to New Zealand in 2018, she snubbed the country with her 1989 tour. At the time, many also speculated the country's lack of venues was an issue.
Under a Facebook post from the New Zealand Herald about the brutal snub, one person commented: 'NZ doesn’t have a venue big enough is probably the main issue here, both for the size of the Eras Tour production and also the demand. ' 'Her stage is too big to fit into any of our stadiums (one of the reasons NZ didn’t get the 1989 tour) so unless she makes her space smaller I highly doubt she’ll make it,' another added.
