Fans of the pop superstar, 30, were convinced that the mystery man was actually Taylor’s boyfriend Joe Alwyn. They theorised that ‘William’ may be a pseudonym for her handsome boyfriend Joe, 29, who she has been dating for almost three years now.
Taylor confirmed the theory on Tuesday when she performed a number of songs from her eighth studio album on Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions on Disney+.
