Taylor Sheridan’s ‘1923’ to Air on Paramount Network Beginning in December (TV News Roundup)

Jack Dunn Taylor Sheridan‘s Paramount+ original series “1923,” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, is coming to the basic cable Paramount Network.

Season 1 of the prequel series will debut on Paramount Network on Dec. 8, immediately following a new episode of “Yellowstone.” “1923” first premiered on Paramount+ back in 2022, and the December premiere date will mark the series’ linear debut.

According to the official logline, the “Yellowstone” prequel series follows “a new generation of Duttons led by patriarch Jacob (Ford) and matriarch Cara (Mirren),” and “explores the early 20th century, when pandemics, historic drought and the end of Prohibition all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.” Other cast members include Brandon Sklenar, Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, Darren Mann, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves and Michelle Randolph.

Executive producers include Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Ben Richardson, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox.
