Authorities are sharing some new details following the death of Taylor Hawkins. The Foo Fighters drummer passed away on Friday (March 25) at his hotel in Bogota, Colombia while in town to play a festival with his band.
He was 50-years-old. Amid their investigation into Taylor‘s death, the Attorney General’s Office in Colombia shared the preliminary results of the urine toxicology test. Click inside to read more… In the press release they shared on Twitter, authorities revealed that the toxicology report indicates “the presence of 10 different substances: THC (Marijuana), tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids, among others” in Taylor‘s system.
The release also noted that The National Institute of Forensic Medicine “continues to conduct the necessary medical studies to ascertain the cause of death.” An official cause of Taylor‘s death has not yet been revealed.
