Tasha Ghouri admits she reconsidered doing Strictly after 'emotional' moment off-camera

Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri has revealed that she questioned whether she should still be in the competition after an "emotional" moment behind-the-scenes of the BBC show.The ex Love Island star, who is partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec on the 2024 series, is a frontrunner to win after scoring the first ten of the competition with her Charleston in Week Four.

However, the 26-year-old has revealed that despite the high score, she began to doubt herself after receiving backlash online.

Speaking to Fleur East on Strictly Come Dancing's It Takes Two, Tasha said that she questioned whether she "deserved" to be in the competition. "I'll be honest, I think I had quite a rough week last week emotionally," she said. "Emotionally, I think there was a lot of noise that happened after we did Charleston, and there was kind of a lot of people saying a lot of different things, and I started to feel like, 'Do I even deserve to be here?' "There was a point where I did start to feel like that, and there was a point where actually in rehearsals had a really good chat and a good heart to heart.

Aljaž was really there for me, picked me up said, 'Look, you do deserve to be here, you've got this. We're in this together.' So I kind of let that noise cloud my head a little bit in rehearsals and eventually I thought, 'You know what?
