She had been found to be unresponsive by her boyfriend David Adefeso at the Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles, California. The singer was later rushed to hospital after David reported to emergency services that she had taken an unknown amount of prescription pills and had been drinking.
Tamar had been due to front the series Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!, the premiere of which has been pushed back to September 10 on WeTV.
