A takeaway in Preston has closed after inspectors found what appears to be a deep friend rat in the kitchen. The Mexicano Food Box also had a cockroach infestation, as well as a "poor state of cleanliness".
Following the discovery of the crispy-looking rodent the establishment voluntarily agreed to shut down in order to carry out a deep clean.
Gut-wrenching photos from the kitchen also show an infestation of cockroaches, as well as a filthy, grease-covered kitchen. This included appliances in the kitchen being coated in a layer of grime.
