K-pop boyband WINNER has been booked by Seoul police for allegedly violating South Korea’s Military Service Act.On December 26, the Seoul Mapo police announced that they had booked Song on Monday (December 23) over suspicions that he had violated the Military Service Act. According to News1, his came after the police received a request from South Korea’s Military Manpower Administration to investigate the matter.“We have requested a police investigation into Song Mino for violating the Military Service Act,” commented the Military Manpower Administration per TenAsia.

BLACKPINK and other YG Entertainment K-pop acts are set to embark on world tours in 2025, the agency has revealed.In a new video, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk spoke about the plans the K-pop agency has for 2025. “I can’t say we have specific plans yet, but I think a lot of artists will be active simultaneously,” said Yang, who then teased touring plans for several groups, including BLACKPINK.Speaking specifically about BLACKPINK, the YG Entertainment head revealed that “there will be a highly anticipated comeback from BLACKPINK” in 2025, which will “also be the year [that the group] start their world tour”.Aside from BLACKPINK, Yang also revealed that both BABYMONSTER and TREASURE will “start their world tours” next year.

WINNER, AB6IX and Weeekly are on the lineup for K-pop music festival K.FLEX’s forthcoming show in London.Europe’s largest K-pop festival, formerly known as KPOP.FLEX, announced through a press release that they are set to host another mega-concert later this year – this time, at The O2 in London on November 20.The event will feature performances from AB6IX, PENTAGON and WINNER – who will be marking their first live performance in Europe during the event. Other acts on the line-up include girl groups VIVIZ and Weeekly, as well as rookie acts Billlie and Younite.Tickets are set to go on pre-sale on AXS on October 5, 9AM BST, and on See Tickets and The O2 on October 6, 9AM BST.

YG Entertainment artists have fully recovered from COVID-19 and are no longer in quarantine, confirms the label.YG issued a statement earlier today (February 3) via Break News announcing that 10 of its artists, who were all previously diagnosed with the virus, have recovered and are no longer in isolation.These artists include WINNER’s Lee Seung-hoon, iKON’s Kim Jin-hwan, Song Yun-hyeong, Goo Jun-hoe, Kim Dong-hyuk and Jung Chan-woo, TREASURE’s Choi Hyun-seok, Yoshi, Jun-gyu and Mashiho. This means all idols who were previously reported to have contracted the virus have now recovered.“They were respectively quarantined in their homes and health authorities evaluated that they were in no danger of further spreading the virus,” wrote YG, as translated by Korea JoongAng Daily.
