The band are due to take to the stage at the O2 Forum Kentish Town on Thursday September 26.In a statement, guitarist Jones said: “The response to the Bush Hall shows has been overwhelming and it’s a privilege to help out a local venue like that. And it became obvious that there are many more fans who want to see us.”He continued: “Playing with Frank has been such a pleasure that we wanted to extend the fun.

Frank Carter has spoken to NME at Download 2024, and opened up about what fans can expect to see from his upcoming gigs with Sex Pistols.The frontman caught up with us backstage at this year’s edition of the Donington Park festival, shortly before he took to the main stage for a career-spanning set with The Rattlesnakes. During the interview, he shed insight into his forthcoming gigs fronting the Sex Pistols, where they’ll be joining forces in London to play the classic ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’ in its entirety.The two shows will be held at London’s historic Bush Hall in August – a venue chosen after the space came under threat when its owners revealed that it needed to raise £42,000 through crowdfunding to prevent it from losing its ability to host music.Now, Carter has opened up to NME about how the idea arose, and why he thinks it is integral for more light to be shed on the smaller venues across the country.“I first met Steve [Jones, guitarist] back in Los Angeles in 2007 and we had a long chat about punk rock and what it means to be kicking against the pricks,” said Carter, “then I eventually met all of them throughout the years.

Refused have cancelled their final festival performance in Sweden due to frontman Dennis Lyxzén suffering from “a massive heart attack”.The Swedish punk band originally announced the news in March, stating they would be playing at Stockholm’s Rosendal Garden Party on Friday, June 14 alongside Turnstile, M.I.A and others.However, Lyxzén took to social media to announce their festival appearance was cancelled. On Instagram, Lyxzén took a photo of himself in a hospital bed, explaining he had “a massive heart attack at my hotel room” that morning, calling it “extremely painful and wildly scary.”“Thanks [to] the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Uppsala hospital I’m still around to fight another day,” he added.
