Mad Cool 2023 has announced a new batch of artists additions to this year’s festival line-up. Check them out below.M.I.A will be performing on Saturday, July 8, sharing the day with acts such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ava Max, Liam Gallagher, The Prodigy, The Rose and Years & Years. Her joining the bill comes after Janelle Monáe‘s cancellation of their festival slot alongside the cancellation of her European tour.Other acts that have been added include dEUS, Maxïmo Park, Velmondo, Teo Planell, and Black Maracas.

Mumford & Sons, Janelle Monáe and The Offspring are among the final raft of artists who have been added to the line-up for Mad Cool 2023.The festival will return to Madrid between July 6-8, with headliners including Robbie Williams, Lizzo, Queens Of The Stone Age, Liam Gallagher, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more.Mumford & Sons, Janelle Monáe and The Offspring have all been added to the headlining bill for this year, while another 46 new artists have also been added to Mad Cool 2023’s line-up. Elsewhere, Primal Scream, Ava Max, Kevin Morby, Kurt Vile & The Violators, King Princess, STONE, and more have also been confirmed to perform.The festival also boasts a wealth of Spanish talent, including the likes of Dora, Walls, Sia Lua, Ghouljaboy, PETTI, and Ralphie Choo.Nine winners from the festival’s Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou will also perform across the three-day event.

His third album ‘Palaces’, released back in May, played host to a range of ideas which he hoped to later return to.“I mean I’ve got a full album’s worth of house music that’s just sitting there that I just need to finish off,” said Streten.

Gang Of Youths have discussed their latest album, ‘Angel In Realtime’, and their recent Wilco cover in a new interview with NME at Mad Cool Festival 2022 – you can watch the full video above.The London-based Australian band played live on the Madrid festival’s Region Of Madrid stage last Saturday (July 9) as part of their ongoing European tour.Speaking to NME backstage at Mad Cool, Gang Of Youths frontman David Le’aupepe jokingly recalled the band’s first visit to Mad Cool in 2018.“We played this festival before the doors even opened, so they’ve brought us back [this year] to apologise, which is very nice of them,” Le’aupepe said with laugh. “[2018 was] when we were even more unknown and terrible.

Zara Larsson has given an update on her third international album, telling NME that it’s “pretty much done”.Speaking backstage at Mad Cool Festival 2022, the Swedish artist explained that she only had “some production stuff left” to take care of on the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Poster Girl’. “I shouldn’t say that [it’s almost done] because now people will expect [new music]; but it is,” she said.

Mad Cool Festival have added 32 more acts to their 2022 line-up, including Florence + The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age and Haim.The Madrid event has also confirmed that it is expanding to become a five-day festival next year, running from July 6-10, 2022.Mad Cool, which was cancelled in both 2020 and 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic, had already announced the likes of Muse, The Killers and Metallica on their bill for next year.The festival has now added 32 more names to their 2022 line-up, including the aforementioned Florence + The Machine, Queens Of The Stone Age and Haim.

Mad Cool Festival has announced its 2021 line-up, led by The Killers, Foals, Twenty One Pilots and more.Also set to play next year’s edition, which will be held between July 7-10, are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pixies, Deftones, Royal Blood and more.The announcement today (July 8) marks what would’ve been the start of Mad Cool Festival 2020, which was cancelled back in May due to the coronavirus pandemic.The Killers, Foals and Pixies are among the returning names for 2021 from the 2020 line-up, although Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Kings Of Leon will not return after they were originally set to top the 2020 bill.“You have asked a lot about Taylor Swift,” the festival’s organisers said in a statement.
