Tyler, The Creator has brought out Earl Sweatshirt to perform ‘AssMilk’ and ‘RUSTY’ at his Coachella headline set – watch the moment below.Weekend Two set saw Earl (previously of Odd Future) join his long-time friend on stage to perform two deep cuts from Tyler’s discography. First, Earl performed a shortened version of ‘AssMilk’, which is taken from Tyler’s debut mixtape ‘Bastard’ (2009).

Voir Dire, the collaborative rap project between Earl Sweatshirt and veteran producer the Alchemist, was originally conceived as a needle in a digital haystack, a YouTube playlist buried under a fake name and burner account. The Alchemist first tweeted about the album in 2019; fast forward to 2021, and still no one had found it.

Earl Sweatshirt was the musical guest on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show last night. He brought his song "2010" to the late night show, performing the track in front of a backdrop featuring projections of pill bottles, viruses, and an anatomically correct heart.

Earl Sweatshirt first emerged rapping crass “jokes” from a salon chair in his breakout 2010 song “EARL”; by the end of the decade, he was practically unrecognizable. Earl Sweatshirt has revealed he has a new project on the way titled ‘Sick!’, marking the announcement with a track from the forthcoming LP.The new cut, ‘Tabula Rasa’, features hip-hop duo Armand Hammer, and was produced by Theravada and Rob Chambers. It’s reminiscent of a ’90s rap cut, with a repetitious piano line, slinky percussion and samples of muffled speech that sound like they’ve been lifted from an old-time movie.An accompanying music video directed by Joseph Mault also arrived alongside the track, comprising grainy, VHS-style footage of Sweatshirt and Elucid and Billy Woods of Armand Hammer recording the song.

The Alchemist is the New York City-born hip-hop producer who's worked with everybody in rap from its biggest stars to fledgling underground talents. After producing Freddie Gibbs' 2020 record Alfredo (one of our favorite records of the year) and the similarly excellent project with Boldy James The Price Of Tea In China, Alchemist will release a new EP on April 3 called This Thing Of Ours.
