Guns N’ Roses have announced the first wave of artists set to support them at their British Summer Time Festival (BST) headline show this year.The rock band comprising Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer and Melissa Reese, will top the bill on June 30. It will be their first appearance at the festival.The first act joining Guns N’ Roses for the stint will be The Pretenders.

BLACKPINK have announced that Sabrina Carpenter, The Rose and more will join them as support acts for their upcoming appearance at BST Hyde Park this summer.Back in October, it was revealed that BLACKPINK would be making their debut UK festival performance at the 2023 edition of British Summer Time. The announcement means that they will soon become the first K-pop act to headline a major UK festival.Now, four new artists have been added to the line-up – set to support the K-pop band at the event on Sunday, July 2.

Billy Joel has been announced as the latest headliner of BST Hyde Park 2023.The summer series of gigs will return to Hyde Park in central London in July 2023, with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band already announced on the line-up.BST Hyde Park organisers have confirmed this morning (September 29) that Joel will headline the series on July 7, 2023, in what will be his only European live appearance of the year.A line-up of special supporting guests for the show is set to be announced soon.Tickets will be available first to AMEX members in a pre-sale from 10am today before a general sale begins at 10am on October 6 from here.A post shared by BST Hyde Park (@bsthydepark)Elsewhere, Billy Joel’s 1990 live film Live At Yankee Stadium will be screened in cinemas next week (October 5 and 9) to celebrate the musician’s 50 years in music.“Billy Joel’s legendary 1990 concert at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx stands as one of the greatest concert films of all time,” a synopsis for the film reads. “Shot in 16mm colour film, the original concert has now been meticulously re-mixed and re-edited.“The newly edited version includes a never-before-released performance of ‘Uptown Girl’, along with interviews from Billy and behind-the-scenes footage from the event’s production.

Duran Duran have announced the full line-up for their BST Hyde Park show next month, with AURORA and Laura Mvula among some of the additions.The pop legends headline the show at London’s Hyde Park on July 10, with Nile Rodgers & Chic previously confirmed to support. Now, Warmduscher, Charlotte Adigéry, Rozzi, Stacey Ryan, Faux Real and Love Sick have been confirmed as additional supports alongside AURORA and Mvula.Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon said: “It’s an extraordinary line-up – it so happens that I’ve featured five of the acts on my radio show, WHOOOSH! – looks like I’ll be spending the entire day dipped in music.”Bassist John Taylor added: “We are incredibly excited for Hyde Park with so many sensational guests like Aurora and Warmduscher, and our old friends Nile Rodgers & CHIC.

Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago has said it feels “pretty damn good” to be announced as supporting Pearl Jam at next year’s rescheduled British Summer Time Festival.

Pearl Jam have announced their biggest-ever London shows for summer 2021.The band will play two nights at American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2021, with the central London live concert series aiming to return to action next year following its cancellation in 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.Having been part of the original 2020 line-up, Pearl Jam have today (October 5) confirmed that they have been rebooked for BST Hyde Park 2021.
