One video in particular, which was uploaded yesterday (February 15), featured her dancing to the hit Doja Cat track ‘Say So’.In particular, Hyolyn filmed herself singing along to a verse that contained the N-word.

K-pop singer Hyolyn has opened up about the difficulties behind running her own label.In a recent YouTube talk show episode hosted by entertainer Tak Jae-hoon, Hyolyn and her former SISTAR bandmate Bora appeared as guests. During the episode, Hyolyn shared that starting her own label, bridʒ, after leaving longtime agency Starship Entertainment has been challenging.As the only artist under her label, the singer shared that it is run by herself and her CEO, who she says helps her manage the company “because it’s impossible to do everything by myself”.

SISTAR’s Hyolyn and Bora will be making a comeback as the duo SISTAR19 in January 2024.On November 17, XSportsNews reported that the duo officially confirmed their upcoming return in January.While currently signed to different agencies, the pair will be releasing the project through Klap Entertainment, which has also confirmed that SISTAR’s former agency Starship Entertainment has given its full support to the release.“The two members – Hyolyn and Bora – are working hard on their vocals and choreography to upgrade the unit’s identity,” Klap Entertainment said, per Korea JoongAng Daily.Further details on the project’s title, format and release date will be announced at a later time.This SISTAR19 project will mark their first comeback in 11 years, following the release of their single ‘Gone Not Around Any Longer’ in 2013. The pair first debuted as a subunit in 2011 with their smash hit ‘Ma Boy’.The upcoming project will also be Hyolyn’s first music since she dropped her single ‘This Love’ with Korean-Canadian singer Paul Blanco earlier this year.

SISTAR are set to reunite for their first-ever performance since their disbandment in 2017.On July 19, JTBC reported that the girl group — which comprised members Hyolyn, Bora, Soyou and Dasom — will be reuniting to perform on the final episode of live music show Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook. The programme will be ending its 13-year run with its 600th episode, which is set to air on July 22 KST on KBS.The quartet released their final single ‘Lonely’ in May 2017, later appearing on South Korea’s four major weekly music shows to perform their most successful hits, ‘Touch My Body’, ‘Shake It’, ‘Loving U’ and ‘I Swear’, before officially disbanding on June 4 the same year.Former members Hyolyn and Dasom had previously teamed up in August 2021 for the single ‘Summer Or Summer’ for Contents Lab VIVO’s ‘How To Spend 2021 Well’ project, the proceeds of which were donated to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

SISTAR member Hyolyn has returned with a striking video for her latest single ‘No Thanks’.In the new visual, the K-pop veteran turns heads as she confidently struts into a neon-lit bar. She soon arrives at a pool party, where she and a team of backup dancers perform the powerful choreography to ‘No Thanks’ atop a glass platform in the middle of the pool.“Yeah, I’m cold, as you can see / But in another moment, I’ll completely melt / That’s my specialty, ice into water (water) / Why are you pretending to know me?” sings Hyolyn on the track.‘No Thanks’ is the lead single of the ex-SISTAR member’s third mini-album ‘iCE’, which arrived alongside the video yesterday (July 18).
