Swingers club with 18 bedrooms, a sauna and a 'massage area' to be built inside Dave’s Angling Superstore

A swingers club with 18 bedrooms, a sauna, cinema room and dancefloor housed in an aquarium building has been approved by Bolton Council.

The private members club now has permission to operate on the site of Dave’s Aquarium, Folds Road, Bolton. Planning documents lodged on behalf of applicant Peter Hemingway show the club will be built within the site of Dave’s Aquarium and Dave’s Angling Superstore, both established businesses also owned by Mr Hemingway.

The club is set to be developed in a space currently used as a storage warehouse with the existing businesses continuing. Ground floor plans for the club, published by Bolton Council show the conversion would include, a bar, dancefloor, changing rooms, lockers and a reception area.

The first floor would contain 18 bedrooms, a sauna, cinema room, a decking area for swim and spa, a massage room and a ‘private room’.
