Helena Bonham Carter’s turn as Princess Margaret in The Crown has won her legions of fans – but did not impress everyone. Fashion guru and TV host Susannah Constantine, a pal of the princess, thought her portrayal was “s***” – and says Helena was nothing like the royal rebel.
Outspoken Susannah, 54, dated Margaret’s son David, Viscount Linley, for eight years in the 1980s. She recalls the Queen’s sister as a motherly figure and says Helena did not resemble Margaret at all.
