Susanna Reid has been replaced on Good Morning Britain's edition tomorrow (Sunday) after it was confirmed the programme would return again this weekend.

In a rare move, ITV last week chose to bring in its usual weekday presenters, including Susanna, Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway, to hosts its news programme last weekend following the Queen's death.

Ahead of Her Majesty's state funeral on Monday (September 19), following four days of lying in state, it has been confirmed that GMB will return on Sunday, September 18, without Susanna as Kate stays at the helm alongside Adil Ray.

The show will air from 6am to 9.30am before ITV's usual programming resumes. GMB usually airs Monday to Friday between 6am and 9am but days after it was announced Queen Elizabeth II had died peacefully, aged 96, at Balmoral, the show returned to screens to continue rolling news coverage as well as share stories and tributes to the late monarch.
