Susanna Reid praised for presenting Good Morning Britain from Ukrainian border

ITV viewers have praised Susanna Reid for presenting Good Morning Britain live from the Polish-Ukrainian border. The 51-year-old presenter travelled to Poland to share stories of the Ukrainian refugees who have made it across the border, while Richard Madeley, 65, was live in the ITV studio.

Amongst the touching and heartbreaking stories of families fleeing the war-torn country, Susanna spoke with seven-year-old Amelia Anisovych who went viral for singing ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen in a bomb shelter in Kyiv last month.

Susanna announced that she would be presenting a special broadcast from Poland over the weekend after she travelled out to the country on Saturday 23 April with a small crew.The mother-of-three tweeted: "Tomorrow I am @gmb in Poland with a special interview with Amelia and her mum Lilia," with a photo of the three of them.
