Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Susanna Reid has opened up on the day Piers Morgan quit Good Morning Britain, explaining she "didn't think he'd really leave the show." The former TV host found himself in hot water over his public dismissal of the Duchess of Sussex's claims in her interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March, which sparked a whopping 58,000 complaints to the broadcasting watchdog.
He stormed off of the set of Good Morning Britain shortly after making his comments and quit the show – which Ofcom has since cleared him of any wrongdoing.
Now, 50 year old Susanna, who Piers' other half Celia Walden recently joked was a better wife to him than she is, has taken to the Daily Mail's Weekend magazine to speak out about the day.
