Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick has been left devastated after he announced that his 'beloved' dog Keira has died at the age of 13.
The 54 year old star, who is known for his work in healing animals on his hit Channel 4 show, The Supervet: Noel Fitzpatrick, revealed to fans on Instagram that his heart was 'truly broken' and that Keira was his 'best friend'.
Noel described how Keira, who was approaching 14 years old, nearly lost her life last year but the family were 'gifted magical further time' with the border terrier.
The Irish veterinary surgeon, who is based in Eashing, Surrey, wrote on Instagram: "It is with profound sadness I share the news that Keira, my beloved companion of nearly 14 years, has passed away. "My heart is truly broken.
