Hector Ó hEochagáin has given a raw account of how his brother Derek’s death hit him hard saying: ‘It feels like I’ve lost a leg.’ Derek who was known to family and friends as ‘Freddie’ died in June after suffering a heart attack while cycling to work in Denmark where he lived, days after returning from a trip to Ireland to visit family.
