Sunny Edwards and Galal Yafai are poised to reignite their old rivalry as they compete for the vacant WBC interim world flyweight title tonight.
The two British fighters will settle their long-standing contention this evening, years after their rivalry first brewed during their time as amateurs. "Showtime" Edwards defeated Yafai in their previous encounter back in 2015, and tonight's bout carries even greater weight, with a claim to a world title on the line at the Resorts World Arena.
Both fighters are entering the ring following victories. Edwards recovered this year with a win over Adrian Curiel, rebounding from his loss of the IBF flyweight title to Jesse Rodriguez last December.
