manchestereveningnews.co.ukNatasha Jonas is set to meet Ivana Habazin at the Exhibition Centre on Saturday in a huge unification fight. It will be the first time Jonas has taken to the ring since she beat Mikaela Mayer after 10 rounds of boxing at the M&S Bank Arena back in January.
The 40-year-old is the the IBF welterweight world champion, and also boasts an unbeaten record of six fights since 2021, which includes victories over Kandi Wyatt, Patricia Berghult and Chris Namus.
Habazin, on the other hand, is a 35-year-old Croatian professional boxer and she won the vacant WBC welterweight title with a win over Kinga Mayer back in April.
Habazin won her last fight on home soil, and against a lesser opponent, so will need to produce an upset in order to overcome Jonas this weekend.
