Selena Marie Gomez (born July 22, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and television producer. After appearing on the children's series Barney & Friends (2002–2004), she received wider recognition for her portrayal of Alex Russo on the Emmy Award-winning Disney Channel television series Wizards of Waverly Place, which aired from 2007 until 2012.

Gomez also starred in the films Another Cinderella Story (2008), Princess Protection Program (2009), Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie (2009), Ramona and Beezus (2010), and Monte Carlo (2011). Thereafter, she focused on more mature roles in Spring Breakers (2012), Getaway (2013), The Fundamentals of Caring (2016), and The Dead Don't Die (2019). She voices the character of Mavis in the Hotel Transylvania film franchise, and serves as an executive producer of the Netflix television drama series 13 Reasons Why (2017–present) and the Netflix documentary series Living Undocumented (2019).

We’re officially waving goodbye to winter (we hope), which means we’re welcoming the spring/summer season and the brand new hair colour trends that it’s about to welcome.

This year, those trends are more wearable than ever, with a huge push on tones that prioritise hair health and work with the existing colour you have – something celebrity hair colourist and salon owner Samantha Cusick is delighted to report. “At our salons, we’re all about subtle boosts of colour and highlights that tweak and subtly enhance your natural look,” she explains.

So what can we expect to see on the colour menu at our salons, then? The hair pro, who has welcomed the likes of Love Island stars Samie Elishi and Cheyanne Kerr as well as Lila Moss and Megan McKenna into her salons, says there are plenty of flattering hues to suit brunettes, blondes and redheads… Bali blonde “Many of us, especially blondes and lighter-toned brunettes, like to brighten up our look as we come out of the doom and gloom of winter.

Lighter evenings and brighter days mean people want a fresher colour, and the tone we’re going to be seeing most of is a creamy neutral,” Samantha explains. “A Bali blonde is punchy enough to offer that brightness but also not particularly ashy.
