We’re officially waving goodbye to winter (we hope), which means we’re welcoming the spring/summer season and the brand new hair colour trends that it’s about to welcome.

This year, those trends are more wearable than ever, with a huge push on tones that prioritise hair health and work with the existing colour you have – something celebrity hair colourist and salon owner Samantha Cusick is delighted to report. “At our salons, we’re all about subtle boosts of colour and highlights that tweak and subtly enhance your natural look,” she explains.

So what can we expect to see on the colour menu at our salons, then? Lighter evenings and brighter days mean people want a fresher colour, and the tone we’re going to be seeing most of is a creamy neutral,” Samantha explains. “A Bali blonde is punchy enough to offer that brightness but also not particularly ashy.
