It all began back in 2019, when celebrity manager Scooter Braun, alongside record executive Scott Borchetta bought Taylor's record label.This gave them full ownership of all of Taylor's songs masters.
It meant Taylor no longer owned the rights to her own songs.Taylor shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing her feelings of helplessness. "Don't know what else to do," she said.
Several celebrities, including Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Camila Cabello, and Halsey, showed their solidarity with Taylor. But it was one particular celebrity that lead Taylor take back control.
