Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Taylor Swift fans get sneak preview of Eras Tour shows as sound checks take place

Taylor Swift fans have gotten a sneak preview of what is to come when the superstar takes over Edinburgh tomorrow night.Eagle-eyed Swifties have clocked a sound-checking being performed of some of the singing sensations biggest tunes outside Murrayfield Stadium.Hundreds of the dedicated fans have been based outside the home of Scottish rugby over the past two days as they gear up for the start of hit Eras Tour.

And fans could hear the Love Story singer's band running through tracks, 'The Man, 'Fearless', 'Fortnight' and 'Anti Hero,' ahead of the Friday's gig.

One super-fan captured a clip of the tracks booming out from the huge ground, which will be packed with an estimated 220,000 revellers over three sold-out nights.The clips taken by Eve, were filmed whilst fellow fans were stood outside the ground queuing for what is presumed to be the Eras Tour merchandise hub.

The videos were shared on X, and were also shared by the official Eras Tour UK & Ireland X page, which confirmed that the US popstar is sound checking at Murrayfield Stadium tonight.One dedicated fan, who had travelled all the way from the US for the Edinburgh show, has told the Record how she couldn't hear the star singing, but loved hearing the rehearsal.
