Years ago, it used to be common for TV series to run well past their prime. Even acclaimed, award-winning dramas like “Dexter” and “True Blood” arguably went a couple of years beyond where they should have ended.
But thankfully, with filmmakers getting more control in the realm of TV and streaming services/networks understanding that shows shouldn’t overstay their welcome, we’re starting to see series have four or five solid seasons and calling it quits.
