This Morning's Cat Deeley has delighted viewers after taking the reins of ITV’s flagship morning show with her charming personality and cool head under pressure.
Yet while the star has been a huge hit with fans at home, Cat herself appears to be wrestling with nerves, with one tell-tale sign giving away her unease.
At first glance the popular presenter, who joined the regular weekday line-up alongside co-host Ben Shephard, appears to be “confident” and “relaxed” on air, but a body language expert has revealed there may be more behind her smile than viewers have picked up on.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Roulette, body language expert Darren Stanton revealed that Ben had put Cat “at ease” as the pair can “have a laugh together” on screen, something that showed a clear but developing sense of trust. “Ben does a very good job of putting Cat at ease when they present together,” explained Darren. “Cat’s genuine smiles suggest she feels very comfortable when working alongside him and they can have a laugh together. “They’re both very strong presenters and it’s clear they’re passionate about what they do.
