The 38-year-old then went on Strictly's after-show It Takes Two to explain properly why he felt he couldn't beat Rhys and Nancy Xu.Ugo, who has played rugby for England 14 times, said that the sport has wreaked havoc with his back and that it prevented him from training and appearing on the show.
