Strictly Come Dancing 's Shirley Ballas has defended the judges' "all over the place" scoring on the show. The head judge, 61, also insisted that she "marks in the moment" on the BBC One dance show and that it is due to the standard being "higher".
Appearing on Thursday's episode of This Morning, host Phillip Schofield said: "You're not being overly generous this year. Is it the fact that the standard is higher than normal?" To which Shirley said: "The standard is higher and I believe that I must score according to what I see.
