Strictly Come Dancing's Nadiya Bychkova admits the atmosphere between her and ex-partner Kai Widdrington is rather chilly following their split as she revealed, "We are not friends." The talented dancing duo ignited a romance in 2022 but have since parted ways.

Discussing the separation, the ballroom star told the Mirror: "We work together but we are not friends and that's ok. One thing I can tell you is that when you see me dancing with him it will be amazing because I'm a professional." Nadiya chose to keep the reasons for their break up private and despite the tension, both are set to cha-cha-cha their way across the Strictly stage together later in the series.The 35 year old Ukrainian dancer shared her candid thoughts at the glamorous Pride of Britain Awards on Monday night (21 October) which she described as "one of her favourite nights of the year".

Nadiya graced the event alongside current co-star and Olympian Tom Dean, exiting the competition as this season's first eliminated couple.

Reflecting on their early departure, Nadiya expressed her disappointment: "It's never nice to leave early.Tom and I have had so much support from people and I get the feeling that the viewers wanted to see what he was capable of and so did I.
