The professional dancer left fans stunned earlier this year when it was revealed that he wasn't going to be competing in the 2024 run of the BBC One dance contest with a celebrity dance partner.
Kai later told the Daily Star about the decision: "Everyone wants to get a celebrity. Unfortunately, it wasn’t my time this series.
