Strictly Come Dancing's pro dancer Lauren Oakley shared a touching message with Amy Dowden after it was announced she would permanently take over as JB Gill’s partner on the BBC show.
Amy, 34, has had to pull out of the rest of the competition due to an injury, confirmed in a statement from Strictly, which Amy later discussed on her Instagram.
Lauren, 33, who stepped in for Amy on last Saturday’s show, responded to Amy’s Instagram post with heartfelt words. She wrote: "This too shall pass.
We're still a team. Love you. You did the ground work, I'll carry your partnership forward and hopefully make you proud." Amy's celebrity partner, JLS star JB Gill, also showed his support for Amy, commenting: "Heartbreaking news [Amy] but our moments will be forever in Strictly history, never forget that.Thank you for being the best teacher.
