Strictly Come Dancing fans have called for show bosses to make a big change moving forward on the BBC One show. After a recent shift in pairings due to an injury, viewers were all rallying behind one professional dancer in particular.
Unfortunately, Amy Dowden was forced to bow out of the competition after sustaining an injury. She faced a medical emergency a few weeks ago during filming that led to a hospital visit and recently shared news of her foot injury.
An emotional Amy announced this week that she would have to withdraw from the series because of her injury, leaving her celebrity partner JB Gill heartbroken.
Stepping in for Amy was stand-in pro Lauren Oakley, who danced with JB last week and again this week. Now confirmed, Lauren will continue to dance with JB for the rest of the season, with both sharing high praises for Amy's efforts.
