Strictly's Krishnan Guru-Murthy breaks silence on show following Amanda Abbington interview

Strictly Come Dancing's Krishnan Guru-Murthy has broken his silence after his Amanda Abbington interview.The pair competed on last year's dancing show but Amanda suddenly left and has since spoken out about her professional partner Giovanni Pernice.

During the interview, Amanda made claims that some of the bullying she endured from Giovanni was 'humiliating behaviour of a sexual nature'.Krishnan has since responded himself by saying he "stands by" every word he said when he was eliminated from the show last year.

Alongside his statement, he shared a photo next to his pro partner Lauren Oakley, who he went on to call "stunning". Re-sharing a post he originally posted when he left the competition, Krishnan added: "Just thought I would repost this from my last day at Strictly - as a lot of people have re-asked about my own experience.

I stand by every word in the original post."He wrote at the time: "That's all folks. Heartbroken. Thanks for the love and support - I'm so delighted that so many people enjoyed watching us. @bbcstrictly brought me more happiness than I ever imagined.
