Strictly Come Dancing's Katya Jones has spoken out after her dance partner Wynne Evans was dropped from the live tour. Following Wynne's announcement that he had mutually decided with the BBC to step back from the tour, Katya expressed her feelings on Instagram Stories, writing over his post: "Let's show humanity and consideration.
I will miss you my darling boy." Wynne confirmed his departure from the tour today in a statement, saying he will "take some time out" from his radio show and the Strictly live tour "to prioritise my wellbeing".
His statement read: "I've agreed with the BBC that I'll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing." "I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection.
Apologies to those I won't get to see at the remaining performances and I'm grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me." The Go Compare advert star, who celebrated his 53rd birthday on Monday, was noticeably absent as the stars departed their hotel in Liverpool for tonight's live performance.
