EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick has finally addressed the whispers of a budding romance with his Strictly co-star Tasha Ghouri.The duo, who shared the spotlight in the latest series of the beloved BBC dance competition, found themselves at the centre of speculation about their closeness following Tasha's break up with her Love Island beau Andrew Le Page.

After Tasha and Andrew, who sparked their romance on the 2022 edition of Love Island, called time on their two-and-a-half-year relationship—despite once declaring they'd "marry each other one day"—Jamie has opened up about the rumours.

Speaking to the Mirror, he quipped, "Tasha is my sister." Catching up with us at the glitzy TV Choice Awards 2025 held at The London Hilton on Park Lane, Jamie couldn't help but chuckle over the rumours, admitting, "I laugh.

We both laugh. You guys have provided us with entertainment.Tasha is my sister." And when probed if Tasha was firmly in "the sibling zone" Jamie confirmed: "Yes!
