Strictly Come Dancing professionals Giovanni Pernice and Jowita Przystal have reportedly ended their relationship, just a couple of months after they went public with their romance at Chelsea FC midfielder Jorginho's birthday bash. The pair were said to have fallen for each other during the latest series of the popular BBC dancing show, which saw Jowita dance to victory with celeb partner Hamza Yassin.

Meanwhile the previous series saw Giovanni crowned champ alongside former EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis. And while Giovanni and Jowita were previously said to have so much chemistry that it was almost impossible for them to keep their relationship secret, they have since reportedly called time on their romance.

A source close to the couple told The Sun: "Giovanni and Jowita enjoyed a number of dates after the last series of Strictly and they got on really well. “But as time has passed they have found it increasingly difficult to build on their relationship because of their hectic work schedules." Adding that Giovanni is on tour for the next five months, the insider revealed that the former couple had found it "absolutely impossible" to make time for one another. They added: "Although their relationship has ended Giovanni and Jowita said they will stay good friends.

It is just a shame they couldn’t make it work." OK! has contacted representatives for Giovanni and Jowita for comment. It comes after Giovanni opened up about wanting to settle down and have kids on his BBC One travel series with Anton Du Beke, Anton and Giovanni: Adventures in Sicily.
