Strictly's Rose sends sweet message to Giovanni Pernice after he admits he's 'lonely'

Rose Ayling-Ellis has shared a sweet message to her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice after he made a heartbreaking confession about feeling lonely while being a single man.

EastEnders star Rose, 28, was partnered up with Giovanni, 32, on Strictly Come Dancing and later ended up winning the 2021 series.

In his current BBC travel show Anton & Giovanni's Adventures in Sicily, which he stars in alongside Anton Du Beke, Giovanni bravely opened up about how he's feeling lonely. "One day I will cook for my family," Giovanni said.

Anton replied: "Once you get a family, you will be doing it all the time." Giovanni, who has reportedly "split" from co-star Jowita Przystal, then admitted: "My mum always says to me: 'So, Giovanni, what's the situation?' because obviously every time I date a girl, I always tell her and say 'What do you think about this?' "Bless her, she's seen so many passing by.
