Strictly's Amy Dowden hints possible return to BBC show as dancer battles cancer

But a new social media post shared by Amy wishing the Strictly team good luck ahead of the show's return indicates that this may not be the case.It comes after the Welsh native shared an emotional video as she undergoes chemotherapy for her condition.
In an Instagram post shared on Saturday, Amy wrote: "Happy live show day @bbcstrictly wishing the entire team a fabulous show and I know it’s going to be amazing!"I’ve been kept up to date with the pros and a few sneaky FaceTimes!
Literally can’t wait to watch and support you all. Hopefully I’ll be there in a few weeks"Since her diagnosis, Amy has been open with fans on her cancer battle, even sharing what she called "the hardest step" - losing her hair.
