Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden revealed she “cried all morning” as she reached a significant milestone in her journey fighting breast cancer.The 33 year old announced in June that she had undergone a mastectomy after discovering she had stage three breast cancer, and has been keeping her followers updated on her journey ever since.

In her latest update, Amy put on a huge smile as she was snapped standing outside the hospital holding up eight fingers, letting her followers know that it was her “last chemo”.The professional dancer wrote in the caption: “It’s chemo number 8!

The last one! We are finally here.” Amy continued: “I’ve cried all morning! Right an afternoon of chemo and then I’m so lucky and grateful to be able to ring that bell!
