Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland put so much effort into every dance that at times he seemed close to collapse - but if he thought his reward would be keeping the Glitterball trophy, he's going to be disappointed.The 47-year-old comedian won the BBC dance competition on Saturday night alongside Dianne Buswell and the pair were pictured holding the large trophy.
However, as many previous winners have pointed out, the BBC keep hold of the trophy and provide Strictly winners with a tiny version - "the size of a grapefruit" as former winner Bill Bailey described it" - home with them instead.
In fact, the only time he is likely to have touched the trophy, which he worked furiously hard for months to win, was on the TV show itself.
Past winner Ore Oduba, 39, explained in 2016 that the length of time he got to spend with the trophy could have been measured with a stopwatch, as he paraded the mini version on This Morning.
