Now that the Glitterball is firmly locked away until the following year, Chris will be back on our screens as he's set to deliver Channel 4's 2024 alternative Christmas message and call for an end to discrimination against disabled people.
First airing in 1993, Channel 4's Christmas message has served as an alternative to the monarch's annual televised speech that discusses important events from the year, and sets out to deliver a thought-provoking message to the audience.
Previous years has seen the likes of Katie Piper, 9/11 survivor Genelle Guzman, a ‘deepfake’ digitally created depiction of Her Majesty The Queen, and more recently in 2023 Stephen Fry addressing the nation.
