Dan made the blunder on BBC One today after Louise Minchin revealed when she would be stepping down from the news programme.
Whipping out his phone and firing up his personal calendar, Dan said: "I was just going to put your date in the diary." Then, looking through his Strictly appointments, he added: "I meet and greet the partner in a couple of days time.
