Strictly Come Dancing's Nadiya Bychkova, who was set to dazzle with Olympic star Tom Dean, has suffered a painful injury, breaking her thumb during rehearsals.The 35-year-old pro dancer faced a setback in the competition but will continue to perform in group numbers.
While practising for this weekend's Strictly shows, Nadiya had an unfortunate tumble that resulted in a broken thumb bone, confirmed by an X-Ray after immediate on-set treatment last Wednesday.
Despite being advised to rest, she's determined not to disappoint and plans to participate in pre-recorded segments. An insider revealed to The Sun: "Nadiya was training with the other pros when she fell.
Her thumb basically snapped and it looked incredibly painful. Everyone crowded around her." They added: "Nadiya's thumb was badly swollen and bruised, but she doesn't want to let anyone down and is adamant she can do the pre-recorded number.
