Strictly Come Dancing fans said they were 'sobbing' during the latest results show - but it wasn't over the exit. It was a rollercoaster of a weekend in the ballroom as there was a 'first' for the BBC One dance contest.

Adding a new theme to mark Strictly's 20th-anniversary series, 'Icons Week' saw the remaining couples take to the dance floor to perform a routine accompanied by a track from a well-known singer or band.

But as quickly as the live show unfolded, it time for the results show on Sunday evening (November 3) which was all about the latest dreaded dance-off and facing Olympic star Sam Quek and her dance partner Nikita Kuzmin was Gladiator Montell Douglas and her dance partner Johannes Radebe. After reperforming their routines, all four judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke - all agreed unanimously to save Montell and Johannes, therefore making Sam and Nikita the sixth couple to exit the competition.
