A German shepherd who was found roaming the streets last summer is patiently waiting for a new family in Manchester. Zeus arrived at Manchester Dogs’ Home in August 2021, and was ‘very scared’ when he was first rescued by the team.
Little is known about the five-year-old dog’s history, but staff at the centre have got to know the gorgeous pooch over the last 12 months.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “Over time, once he realised he was safe, he grew confident around some of the staff members.
