Luke Shaw has been hailed by Manchester United fans for scoring England’s first goal in their 3-3 Nations League draw with Germany on Monday evening.
His low strike that squeezed over the line past Andre ter Stegen was his first for the Three Lions since the final of Euro 2020.
He played the full 90 minutes in his first start in any game since United’s 4-0 loss to Brentford last month. He has struggled for minutes since being replaced by Tyrell Malacia at half-time in that match, enjoying only 20 minutes against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League since.
