Joe Otterson TV Reporter Both Sting and Jennifer Hudson are set to appear on “The Voice” Season 26 as mega mentors. This marks the first time that there have been two mega mentors on “The Voice” in a single season.
Sting will join coaches Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani, while Hudson will join Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire. The role marks a return to “The Voice” for Hudson, as she was previously a coach on Seasons 13 and 15 of the NBC competition series.
The announcement comes as the teams prepare for the three-way Knockouts beginning on Nov. 11. This time, the artists are paired against two other teammates but they will select their own songs to perform individually while their direct competitors watch and wait.
Hudson is an EGOT winner and one of the most celebrated singers of her time. Most recently, she released the holiday album “The Gift of Love” on Oct.
