Joe Otterson TV Reporter The upcoming Netflix supernatural drama “The Boroughs” has added six new cast members. Rafael Casal (“Loki,” “Blindspotting”), Dee Wallace (“E.T.
the Extra-Terrestrial,” “Cujo”), Ed Begley Jr. (“Young Sheldon,” “Better Call Saul”), Jane Kaczmarek (“Malcom in the Middle,” “The Changeling”), Eric Edelstein (“Twin Peaks: The Return,” “Minx”), and Mousa Hussein Kraish (“American Gods,” “Your Lucky Day”) have all joined the show, which hails from creators Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews and boasts the Duffer brothers among its executive producers.
They join previously announced cast members Alfred Molina, Geena Davis, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, Clarke Peters, and Bill Pullman will all star in the eight-episode series, which was greenlit at the streamer back in April 2023.
The series’ logline states, “In a seemingly picturesque retirement community, a group of unlikely heroes must band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing the one thing they don’t have… time.” Casal is repped by CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
